especially the wide "Y" shaped twig at center doing the work of making a rail for the shelf between the two match holders

Some wear to the spine but still holding fine and all pages remain well bound

With lovely design and illustrations throughout

Very Beautiful 1838 German Catechism Book with Hand-printed Paper Cover tweety bird I love that it isThis, and a second PA German catechism book also listed today, are all about book as object for me namely about the gorgeous hand printed paper on the cover boards; the mustard and green gridded pattern here just makes me swoon, and feels as contemporary as it does 1830s (this one published in 1838). As beautiful as any wallpaper band box, and takes up much less space! 5 9 16" x 3 11 16". Very good condition.
