The grape material comes from 50-80 year old vines from various excellent locations in the area

This Oloroso is drawn from a solera averaging 15 years: Palomino aged oxidatively in American oak

followed by 26 months of cask aging

2021 | Vaptistis Winery Mavrotragano Glyko | Aegean Islands Moulin de Duhart plums and barkRuby color of medium intensity. Sweet fruity aroma reminiscent of sweet grape spoon preserve, honey, red fruit jams with hints of spices and leather due to Mavrotragano. Full marmalade flavor accompanied by spicy notes with a slightly syrupy feel. Very good balance of acidity sweetness without being astringent with a long aftertaste.
